Writers conference!

Our first gathering of writers in Savannah has just completed. We talked about the future of That Blank Media, the rolls of the individual blogs, and how to progress into the future. Unfortunately, I decided to instruct the writers to not post during the conference.

What's new at That Blank Media.

You may have noticed a slow-down of the number of posts across the network. This is because of some restructuring, as well as a lot of people being rather busy around here. Also, meetings. Many meetings.

So what have we been doing rather than posting?

We've been planning new blogs, planning new ways to increase traffic to engage you all into posting so we can converse with you - the reader. We've been working with our sponsors to attempt to come up with enough money to purchase a domain. We've been debating many things with our infrastructure. Lots of work has been going on behind the scenes.

General Updates:
That Blank Media is now being traded as THATBLANK, on Empire Avenue. It's a pretty neat little website, where you can buy and sell "stock" in people or in businesses. Hop on over there and buy a share of us.

New Blog:
Today marks the launch of another blog, bringing us up to 3! Our newest addition is Easy Advertising. Easy Advertising will be posting advertising and promotion tips, courtesy of our marketing team. They will also be maintaining a list of blogs that have both Entrecard and Adgitize so you can get your clicks and drops quicker every day. Congrats to That Politics Blog!

Launching just 11 days ago, That Politics Blog has broken into the top five million websites worldwide, according to Alexa.com's rankings. This is an extremely quick rank-up, and we're proud of them.

That being said, a new author should be introducing himself soon, and he will be flag-shipping our next project -- That Reviews Blog. This blog will be reviewing everything and anything. He's a great guy, and I think you'll like him.

Politics and other news.

Two new posts over at That Politics Blog. One by Breaku that highlights a specific interesting tidbit of Obama's history, and one by iSpy who throws down at Sarah Palin a little. Definitely should check them both out.

In other news, we've secured an advertising team as well as some new authors for up-coming blogs that will be launching within the network within the coming weeks. We're very sorry for the slow-launches of these other blogs. It was never our intention to go live with only one active blog (as it makes this one mostly pointless) but a lot of well, legal and technical junk happened that is causing a lot of delays.

We're currently accepting guest authors for That Politics Blog, and author PoliticallyInsane is willing to guest author on any blog (though he would prefer a political one). That Blank Media is a brand spankin' new internet media company, with a focus on bringing news and information that people want to hear, in a way that combines colloquialism with professionalism so that it will be not only informative, but also fun to read. Today is our official launch date (and lots of planning has gone into this thus far) and we will be launching with four blogs by the end of this week, and will hope to total ten by the end of this month.
